Healed in Three Weeks

Four years ago my son, who is a physician, pronounced the disease from which I was suffering, diabetes. My intense thirst and rapid loss of strength caused us to consult other physicians, and they also told us that I was suffering from diabetes in its advanced stages. One told my daughter that medical science considered it an incurable disease. I took the medicine prescribed, also adhered to the diet recommended by the doctors, all to no avail, for I began to suffer from heart failure caused by extreme weakness. I felt I could not endure this much longer.

At this time my daughters attended a lecture at Vassar Institute against Christian Science, but it had the effect of making them wish to know more of this subject, and accordingly they attended the Wednesday evening testimonial meetings and became so interested in the healing that they proposed that I try it. A healer was called. I had not been able to taste or smell. After taking the first treatment my taste and smell were restored immediately.

I shall never forget that first meal, for the healer said I could eat what I wished to. In three weeks I was cured and was able to sleep as peacefully as a little child. My household duties and other affairs were resumed, for with health, I have renewed interest in everything.
