It has been six months since I learned through "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the Truth that made me free. For four years after my little girl was born, my health was very bad. I was treated, and thought my very existence depended upon medicine, but I did not seem to improve.

In March I visited in Ruston, La., where, a few months previous, a lady who was a Christian Scientist had visited, leaving some Sentinels. One fell into my hands and I determined to find out if there were any truth in Christian Science. I at once ordered Science and Health, and when it came I gave it my undivided attention. I considered this a venture, since among all my friends and acquaintances not one was a believer in Christian Science, to say nothing of being a Christian Scientist.

Before I had finished reading Science and Health I felt that I was entirely well, and upon confessing the Truth I felt the presence of divine Love, and that "peace of God which passeth all understanding." I have told a great many of this blessed experience of the healing power of Christ, but only one friend has been benefited to the extent of being healed. I am striving to gain a better understanding of the Truth that heals in order that others may be constrained to believe. My knowledge of the Truth has enabled me and my little girl to live in a malarial district for the past six months without being sick or taking any medicine as a preventive.
