Written in the aftermath of the earthquake that hit South Asia on October 8, 2005.

When I woke up on Saturday morning in India, where I live, these words from the Christian Science Hymnal were filling my thoughts:

Love now is dawning over every nation;
Showing true brotherhood, publishing salvation,
Love bids all discord cease.
Conquering hate, enthroning peace,
Love, Love alone is power.
