Held in Thy Law

The waves cream on the shoreline,Held by the sea alway;Their mighty tides resurgingTill eve, till break of day.

A Prayer for the Laborers

O God , may we so gentle beThat fearful ones, who in their needHave stretched out groping hands to Thee,May ne'er again so fearful be,Because Thy gentleness reflected, now they see.

Glad Tidings of Great Joy

I have a secret,A wonderful secret to share with you.

The Healing

THERE came a day when on earth's thorny roadI wandered far, beset by fear and rue,And wearied laid me down to rest and dream.

A Prayer

AWAKEN me, O Lord, to see the subtletyOf evil, which deceiveth those asleep in sense,Such forms as ease in matter, selfishness, till henceUnto their native nothingness and vanityThey go.

Reality

BEAUTY of earth, of the sky and sea,Wind-borne fragrance of flowers,Burgeoning bud and leafing tree,Whisper in loving tones to meOf the glories no mortal eye can see—Spirit is all that endures.

If I Leave All

LORD, what then shall I receive,If I arise, leave all,And follow thee?

Ever-Present Love

I WALK with Love,And so the way, though rough, is clear and bright,For Love doth bathe it in celestial light.
