TRUTH

I found the thread of knitted thoughtsEntangled with the yearsAnd pulled the snarls of false belief,Unraveling hidden fears.

FOR THIS I PRAY

For this I pray:Courage to walk the heavenward wayThough friends forsake me here,And I must yield for heavenly gainEarth ties I now hold dear.

DESIRE IS PRAYER

When in the stillness of the night,Dear Lord, I think of Thee—Thy precious love, Thy truth and light,Enfolding me,
After the night of darkness,Before the daylight hour,Luminous, steadfast, lovely,Rises the morning star;Blessing the shrouded valleyWith surety of dawn—After the night of darknessEnsign of joy is shown.

"IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH"

In perfect trust I lay me down,Safe in the circle of God's love.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

In God's pure sight I am already whole,Offspring of Love and Love's unchanging will.

UNFOLDMENT

Since Mind unfolds its own idea,No disappointed hope is mine,Or prisoning pride with all its fear; All comes of Thee and all is Thine.

ELIJAH

Hiding in a cave I was that day, hiding in a hole made in the earth.

WAITING ON GOD

Be patient nowAnd wait to see God's planFor you unfold;RememberingHow much of Truth you holdTo use at need;RememberingThat you are God's reflection, perfect man,And He will leadIn paths unknown as yet.
O house of God, built on a firm foundation,Standing secure amid the storms of life,Where all may come to learn of true salvationAnd find release from discord, pain, and strife.

THERE IS NO MATTER

The "color is in us," not "in the rose,"The physicist declares.
