FOR A BUILDING CHURCH

May this church, so loved, so blest,Rise at Mind's serene behest,Showing forth a perfect planRevealed of God, approved of man.

DESIRE IS PRAYER

When in the stillness of the night,Dear Lord, I think of Thee—Thy precious love, Thy truth and light,Enfolding me,
After the night of darkness,Before the daylight hour,Luminous, steadfast, lovely,Rises the morning star;Blessing the shrouded valleyWith surety of dawn—After the night of darknessEnsign of joy is shown.

"IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH"

In perfect trust I lay me down,Safe in the circle of God's love.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

In God's pure sight I am already whole,Offspring of Love and Love's unchanging will.

UNFOLDMENT

Since Mind unfolds its own idea,No disappointed hope is mine,Or prisoning pride with all its fear; All comes of Thee and all is Thine.
