Over the winter, I found that I was struggling with a fear of dying, of being pulled away from my kids, and I seemed to be consistently gripped with this fear.

When I opened the June 7 Sentinel ["Divine supply and demand"] to the lovely picture and short article "Spring thoughts from Ireland," my eyes went immediately to the "circle" made by the bridge and the reflection in the water.

I had just received an e-mail from a good friend in British Columbia, appealing for support for a march to the Parliament Buildings in Victoria, BC, on 8 May to protest the sea lice incubation on farms that is threatening the wild salmon.
