With reference to the article "Finding Mary Baker Eddy" by Lesley Gort, in the December 14, 2009, Sentinel ["Mary Baker Eddy—a thinker for all time"], I recalled the following statement in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy: "A book introduces new thoughts, but it cannot make them speedily understood.
