Having a healing in Christian Science gives us strength, confidence, and trust in God’s power and care. My life has been full of ups and downs, but becoming acquainted with Christian Science at the age of thirteen was a great blessing.
During my years of university study, I worked and studied at the university on weekends because I wanted to improve myself. I worked hard and sacrificed hours of rest to get ahead.
At one point, I was taking an expensive class on a new subject that seemed very different from the others. I was also enrolled in several other courses, and it felt as if there was never enough time for my studies. I was worried that I wouldn’t pass the class on the new subject because I couldn’t understand some things even though the curriculum was interesting and the teacher was very prepared. The demands of the course forced me to work twice as hard. Despite my hard work, I didn’t do very well on the first two exams, so I needed a high grade on the third exam. I was feeling very worried and decided to pray.
