Standing strong in tough times

God’s power really is strong enough, and we can feel it by yielding fear, grief, and torment to Love’s all-encompassing, ever-present care.
Let’s refuse to allow the belief in age to tempt us to feel or be limited. The only label that belongs on any of us is “ageless child of God, made in His image.”
See, the streams of living waters,

When we relinquish the human concept of our neighbor as ignorant, unreceptive, or uncaring, and of ourselves as some sort of savior, we go from willfully trying to correct some “uninformed” human being to allowing ourselves to be a transparency for the truth that divine Mind knows and is communicating.
Jesus invited his followers to be conscious of our own and others’ true, wonderful, now being that is purely and completely good, free, and always accessible because it has its source in God.
When Shannon and Mommy started praying, they talked about how, just as Shannon didn’t need to change the silly reflection in the fun house mirror, this injury also wasn’t the true view of her.
As I continued praying, my fear faded away and the pain lessened. Each day brought more freedom and joy.
I was inspired to pray with the idea that the school community, the municipal authorities, and I were under divine authority—that God, Truth, was governing us all in our efforts to reestablish harmony.
With each step I took, I thought of divine Spirit enveloping my entire being.
I loved this article, as I too had found myself being critical of others, even though I knew better as a lifelong student of Christian Science.
