I love this article—humble, loving, and full of humor.

> Kyle Schaberg, “My ‘great concern,’ ” Sentinel, September 8, 2025

This article was a game changer for me. After days of a frustrating situation, I picked up this Sentinel and found my answer. I could continue being annoyed and frustrated or, as the author found in Hymn 224 in the Christian Science Hymnal, “Henceforth my great concern shall be / To love and praise Thee more” (John Ryland). All day, I put away negative thinking and praised God for His ever-present goodness. This filled me with joy, and the next day, two beautiful resolutions took place. Thank you for all of our periodicals!

Many ideas in this article helped me to rethink how I pray—in particular, not always needing to find a perfect statement or just the right words. Too often prayer can get stuck on those very things.
