Gratitude heals debilitating symptoms
After a move in 2014, I had just finished loading boxes into an SUV for another person who needed them, and was about to go through the door leading from the garage to the house.
As I reached to press the button to close the garage door, I suddenly experienced excruciating pain in my head. I lurched down the hallway, struggling to keep my balance while going to my bedroom. When I tried to drink some water, I found that my throat was closing up, and I was unable to swallow. Other alarming symptoms appeared.
Immediately I called a Christian Science practitioner for help through prayer. As I lay there on the bed, I began to pray the Lord’s Prayer. Then I declared aloud, “ ‘I AM’ free!”
