Be fruitful
“Be fruitful” 1
—our mission, our blessing,
the first thing God told us to do,
an assignment that’s powered by promise,
and filled with expectancy, too.
“Be fruitful”—repeated in Scripture.
Our tithing and generous giving
are backed by the full faith and credit
of God for compassionate living.
“Be fruitful”—command of the ages!
It rings down the centuries still
to receive and accept God’s provision
as ours by the grace of God’s will.
“Be fruitful”! God wants us to prosper,
to thrive, to keep finding His treasure,
to love God and love one another,
to bless and be blessed beyond measure.
“Be fruitful”—it opens the floodgates!
The windows of heaven will pour
out a boundless Niagara of blessings,
releasing the captive to soar!
