No more pain in tooth

During a routine dental cleaning, a dentist informed me that a tooth where a large filling had fallen out needed to be removed. Out of fear of the procedure, I put off having the tooth removed, and a few months later, that tooth began to ache. It started on a Friday afternoon, and I was concerned about the timing, since I knew most dentists didn’t work weekends, which meant I would have to wait until Monday to have it looked at. However, I do work on weekends, and by the end of that workday, I wasn’t sure I would be able to go to work the next day.

I feared telling my family members and the client I was working for the next day what was going on, thinking I would be judged for choosing to deal with pain through Christian Science treatment. But when asked about it, I felt led to explain what was going on, and instead of judgment or condemnation, those who were asking expressed compassion, love, and the hope that I would feel better soon. The reactions I received were so loving that I felt comforted by everyone’s kindness.

When I got home, I called a Christian Science practitioner for prayerful treatment. She shared with me how much God loved me and that He was right where I was, taking care of me. This brought me even more comfort.
