Helping me understand
[Mark Sappenfield, “Seeing past turmoil in the news,” Sentinel, November 4, 2019]
Thank you for sharing this editorial. I always listen to a couple of news stations on TV. And I have sometimes wondered why I do so. But as a Christian Scientist, it is my duty to reverse beliefs of evil and listen to God, for God is the reality. Any belief of evil is always unreal. Thank you for helping me understand why I listen to the news, other than for the weather report!

Lifted my thought
[Sally Domenighini, “In the beginning … In the only, now and always,” Sentinel, October 21, 2019]
This poem is beautiful. It lifted my thought and cheered my day. Thank you.

Any benefit?
[Edwin de Leon, “Healing restores love of Christian Science,” Sentinel, September 30, 2019]
Since there were obviously substantial differences between the author and me—in age, social condition, and country of residence—I did not at first think the article could be of any benefit to me. How wrong that was. Thanks to both the author and the editors.
