Continuity of Life

[Donald Carey, “Glimpse eternal Life and find freedom from grief,” Sentinel, July 16, 2018]

This is a wonderful and clear article explaining the continuity of Life. I particularly like the introduction, which relates to what we hear on a daily basis from the media.

The article does a wonderful job of relating Christ Jesus’ overcoming of death to how we can also approach this subject. And then finally, the author’s personal experience with the healing of grief after the passing of his wife really shows how to make these concepts practical in one’s own life. Thanks so much.

Defeating sin

Thank you ever so much for such a clearly loving, deeply spiritual, and instructional editorial on defeating sin—something that would try to rob us of our God-given dominion, health, and happiness, and something we need to always guard against.

In the June 25, 2018, Sentinel, the editorial “The Comforter teaches all things” incorrectly references Miscellaneous Writings 1883–1896 as a source in the second paragraph. It has been corrected online.
