Very relevant
[Tony Lobl, “Growing beyond ‘us and them,’ ” Sentinel, May 14, 2018]
Thank you very much for this editorial. It’s very relevant for struggling with current local, national, and international perceptions.

Helpful truths
I had just finished reading “Prayer can defeat antagonism” by Virginia Slachman in the April 23, 2018, Sentinel, when I overheard a phone conversation between my husband and a supplier. An order had been placed on my husband’s behalf contrary to written instructions. My husband was shaken by unfair accusations and an inflated fee, so an appointment was made to discuss the matter further.
After praying in earnest, I accompanied my husband to that meeting. Upon our arrival, the supplier’s demeanor changed completely, the excessive charges were dropped, and an order revision was arranged.
How grateful I am for the helpful truths shared in articles like these in our periodicals!
