Keep singing!
Joy! It comes with being satisfied. Satisfaction! It comes with having learned and experienced something wonderful. It makes you want to sing!
I remember feeling that way when I first began studying Christian Science. I learned that God is Spirit, and that man (including me and everyone else) is spiritual and perfect—and I experienced an unexpected physical healing as a result of that dawning in my thought. Hymn 64 in the Christian Science Hymnal echoes my heartfelt feeling: “The dawn of all things real is breaking o’er me, / My heart is singing: I have found the way” (Violet Hay).
And deep within me, my heart continues to sing, as I continue to study Christian Science, be spiritually uplifted by it, and experience healings. And my heart doesn’t stop singing when times get tough—because I know that as I stay true to divine Love in my thoughts and deeds, Love will bring the healing result that is needed, as it has for me and countless others through many decades. It’s a well of satisfaction and joy that no circumstance can dry up; it just keeps springing forth.
