Comfort from the Psalms
We invite you to share with readers the comfort and spiritual strength that the Bible’s book of Psalms can bring to each of us in our understanding and practice of Christian Science. If a particular psalm or verse has been integral to a healing, or has been a guidepost in your life, the ideas you have to share could be very helpful to others. See http://jsh.christianscience.com/submit for submission information. Please write “Comfort from the Psalms” in the “Author comments” field.
Helpful insights
As a longtime subscriber to the Sentinel, I have found its contents very helpful and timely. Kevin Reeder’s article, “ ‘Called … to glory and virtue’, ” in the November 7, 2016, Sentinel was most compelling and thorough in its presentation of the steps that lead to spiritual transformation as a result of genuine repentance.
John Biggs’s article, “My true north,” in the November 28, 2016, Sentinel, was applicable to adults as well as teens, with its conviction that “we are Love’s actual outcome and expression” and the “unmistakable guidance” practicing that conviction brings.
