Severe weakness healed

I am so very grateful for and richly blessed by Christian Science. Recently, during a vacation to the United States to visit friends, my husband and I were out shopping. He was keen to visit a sports store near to where we were staying. I had not been feeling well before we left for the store, but decided it was right to go with him.

On the way I felt increasingly worse, and by the time we got there I could barely make it up the escalator. I stopped at the top of the escalator and told my husband that I’d be fine staying there by myself while he looked around. He cautiously left me there.

Hanging on to the handrail of a nearby staircase for support, I immediately called my Christian Science teacher for help through prayer. I was so grateful that she was right there and answered after one ring. I sobbed, telling her that I needed help, and she instantly reminded me of some simple spiritual truths. It was striking to me that she didn’t ask what the difficulty was, and yet by the time she finished talking to me I felt fine. This was a beautiful demonstration of the healing power of divine Science, which knows no physical boundaries or limitations and is applicable to every situation.
