Leg injury healed
A few years ago I was ice-skating with my children, and I slipped and fell, landing on my youngest son. After checking on him to see that all was well, I turned to myself and realized I couldn’t get up.
My son wriggled out from under me, brushed himself off, and slowly pushed me over to the wall, where I could reach the rail and help myself up.
I had hurt my leg, and I was quite afraid to go back on the ice and make the circle to the exit. I wanted to stop and climb over the short wall, but my children knew better and said, “Mommy, keep going.” They were so loving and encouraging.
