No 'series of unfortunate events'
Many avid readers are aware that A Series of Unfortunate Events is a series of youth novels by a writer with the pen name of Lemony Snicket. (A movie by the same name was made a few years ago, too.) In the books, siblings encounter lots of truly unfortunate, sometimes harrowing, scenarios that test their courage.
Well, in the midst of several unfortunate scenarios of my own, I was grateful to receive this angel message: There is no “series of unfortunate events” in the kingdom of heaven!
A couple of years ago I was working to finalize a bunch of details for a TMC Youth Summit. Around the same time, I was informed that my grandfather had passed away. As soon as I heard, I immediately claimed that Life, God, is eternal, and that we are all included in this eternality because we reflect God. In an effort to reach out to and support my family members, I sent them a few articles from the Christian Science periodicals that had helped me in the past.
