Innumerable blessings
I remember that day in the year 2001—the day which ultimately transformed my life completely. I was working as a lecturer for a reputable national institute on a temporary basis in its computer science department and facing many challenges in my life regarding my job, issues with my daughter, a financial crisis, etc.
That day, as usual, I was working at my desk at the office. Suddenly I overheard someone who was speaking to another colleague of mine. She said: “With God, everything is possible. In Christian Science, every healing is possible.” I jumped from my chair and caught her hand and asked: “Is it really so? Is everything possible in Christian Science?” She very humbly said, “Yes, dear.” She was the assistant professor of some other department, and she was a class-taught student of Christian Science.
I discussed my problems with her, and she gave me some Sentinel magazines to read. After returning home, I read all the articles, including the testimonies. I came to learn about Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy because in each article and testimony there were some spiritual truths from this book. I was very happy that I’d found something that would help me. The next day I met my colleague and asked for Science and Health. Very happily she gifted me a copy.
