One time my “abuelo” (grandpa) who lives in Lake Tahoe, California, came to visit us. He thought it would be fun to rent a hotel room for the night and sightsee in Seattle the next day. When I was going to the hotel to visit my abuelo, I slammed my thumb in the car door. It hurt a lot, and I didn’t want to go to the hotel after that. I just wanted to stay home. But my mom prayed with me. She told me that God is Love and that God would never want me to be hurt.

In Sunday School, I have learned that a lot of people have been healed when they’ve read the Bible and Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. And I learned that I can be healed, too. I know that God is everything good and that I reflect good.
