'I will always be grateful'
About four years ago, I had a stroke that left my right eye in severe pain every time I would attempt to read my Bible. Doctors and specialists said there was not anything that could be done about it.
So one day, about six months later, I was at a park where I was trying to gain my strength back. A lady approached where I was sitting. She asked several questions about my spiritual life and found out that I had been a minister for many years.
So I asked some questions about her and found out she is a Christian Scientist. I had heard about this denomination, but I didn’t know anything about it. I told her I had an open mind about religion. I liked what she was telling me about Christian Science, so I had a lot of questions.
