Thank you for the entire June 13 issue of the Sentinel [“Prayer about food and body”], especially for the article by Daniel Watts, “Nourished by divine Love.”
How wonderfully his article tied in with a citation from Science and Health from a recent Christian Science Bible Lesson-Sermon. Mary Baker Eddy wrote on page 303: “When the evidence before the material senses yielded to spiritual sense, the apostle declared that nothing could alienate him from God, from the sweet sense and presence of Life and Truth.”
Mr. Watts writes, “Consistent prayer helped me feel the sweet sense of Love’s upholding embrace and its deeply fructifying, refreshing, uplifting, and energizing action.”
