I took Christian Science Primary class instruction in 1983, and every year we still meet for our class association meeting. Our speaker for last year gave us the assignment of reading and studying Christian Healing by Mary Baker Eddy, especially this quote: “Metaphysical or divine Science reveals the Principle and method of perfection,—how to attain a mind in harmony with God, in sympathy with all that is right and opposed to all that is wrong, and a body governed by this mind” (p. 14). I was impelled to obey this and find healing in my life.

Our association also joined together online to discuss quotes by Mrs. Eddy on spiritual perfection. It was a lovely assignment, and I gained a lot from it.

In March of last year, I was in a great deal of pain with a toothache. That week’s Christian Science Bible Lesson was on “Matter” and emphasized the fact that all is Spirit. However, the more I prayed about this, the louder the pain seemed to shout.
