We changed the window display at our Christian Science Reading Room this week, and included some of the latest Sentinels.
It was not long before a young mum with a baby in a pushchair walked in and asked for the October 10 Sentinel [“Pregnancy and childbirth: A spiritual approach”]. She looked at the Sentinels we had for sale and then purchased two. She asked what the words Science and Health meant and was given a kids edition of the Sentinel with a leaflet for those interested in knowing more about Christian Science.
Within 24 hours of putting the October 10 Sentinel in the showcase, we had sold out of our stock of that Sentinel, despite the fact that the price had increased to £3.00 English pounds.
Enjoy 1 free Sentinel article or audio program each month, including content from 1898 to today.
