Our gratitude board

Ruby, Lily, Brenden, Chloë, Daniel, George, Stephen

Sunday School students from First Church of Christ, Scientist, Sparta, New Jersey, wrote down what they are thankful for and pinned their comments on their church’s bulletin board. This is what some of the kids shared:

I am thankful for God’s love for me! God protects me! He/She doesn’t let me get hurt!

God can guide me to do the right moves in field hockey.

–Lily

I’m thankful: I love Sunday School because it helps me realize what is true and real, and what is not true.

–Brenden 

I am thankful for Mary Baker Eddy. Many times I have turned to Fruitage (the last chapter in her book Science and Health) and felt better.

–Stephen

Thanks for Sunday School! It has helped me understand God better. I am surrounded by other people who love God.

–Daniel

I am grateful for God’s angel thoughts (messages), which I collect, and they keep me safe
 at night.

–Chloë

I’m thankful when God helps me. When I’m not feeling good, God helps me pray about what to do to feel better.
