I was walking with God

I was at my best friend's birthday party and was having an excellent time. It was getting late and everyone, including myself, was getting a little wild. We were playing around listening to music and dancing. My friend was leaning over when I kicked my leg up, and somehow my foot hit my friend's tooth. She was fine, but it sliced very deep into my heel.

After I calmed down, and we had bandaged my heel, I sat down and started praying. The only thought I could remember was: "God is everywhere and we are His perfect reflection." My friend's mom came to see how I was doing. The cut was very deep and kept bleeding through all of the bandages, and it was getting more painful.

I called my mom and asked her to pray for me. The bleeding stopped, and at first I didn't want to leave the party. But then my dad came to pick me up. When I got home, I just started crying. I was so tired, and my foot was really hurting badly. My mom comforted me, and we talked about how God does not know about accidents. In Science and Health it says, "Under divine Providence there can be no accidents, since there is no room for imperfection in perfection" (p. 424). That means that God is governing us 24/7 without taking a break, and that He never stopped caring for me, so I could not be the victim of an accident.
