'LIGHT BULB MOMENTS' AND TWO HEALINGS

I'd like to share two instantaneous healings that happened after reading recent testimonies in the Sentinel.

The first occurred as I was reading a testimony in which the writer shared a healing of resentment. She described anger and hurt swelling up in her thought like a balloon. When her prayers helped her let go of resentment, physical healing was a natural byproduct. At the time when I read this, I was dealing with resentment because of a personal situation. This seemed to affect my health. Over a short period of time, my entire body had become very swollen and inflamed, feeling very much like a balloon. But I hadn't given the physical symptoms much attention since I was working so hard to get over the resentment.

As I continued reading, the ideas shared about divine Love overcoming hate were very helpful. The writer described how letting go of residual anger was freeing, like laying down an actual physical weight. This was a "light bulb moment" for me. By the time I finished reading the testimony, I felt such mental freedom, and within minutes all the swelling vanished and my body returned to normal. I was left with a sweet sense that we can't allow people to be the source of our happiness, peace, or sadness. God is the source of all good. This is a concept I continue to pray with today.
