ANNOUNCING FUTURE RELOCATION OF THE MOTHER CHURCH SUNDAY SCHOOL
"Father, we Thy loving children/Lift our hearts in joy today" begins Hymn 58 in the Christian Science Hymnal.
And what a joy it is to announce that planning has begun for The Mother Church Sunday School to relocate into a newly renovated space within The Mother Church in 2012. It has been the desire for some time now to bring the Church congregation and the Sunday School students together in one location. We treasure these dear students' inquisitiveness, inspiration, and spiritual education, and we look forward to providing a more seamless transition between the students' Sunday School experience and our active Church family.
We will be renovating some underutilized areas in the Church, including the current Children's Room in the Extension and the Vestry in the Original Mother Church with a connection between the two. This rejuvenated space will offer a flexible learning environment that will accommodate as many, if not more, Sunday School students, as the present Sunday School building.
