I can't remember why I lay on that bed, sobbing into my pillow and feeling so desperate. I must have spoken aloud, "I'm a flop. I'm a flop!" when I felt the sweet touch of my three-year-old daughter as she patted my back. "It's okay, Mommy, it's okay. Remember what Jesus said—'Fear not, little flop.'" The tears stopped instantly. I took that advice over 35 years ago and am still smiling!
