LEG AND HIP PAIN HEALED

In May 2009 I began having pain in one of my legs and hip. At first the difficulty was minor and I paid only limited attention to it, as I tried not to give it any reality in my thought. As a lifelong Christian Scientist I understood that it could not be real if God had not caused it. However, the pain was different from anything I had experienced before, and it gradually became severe. I called a Christian Science practitioner for help, who encouraged me to see that I could not experience anything that God, good, was not conscious of and had not caused.

My ability to walk decreased in the days ahead, to the point where I could not stand or walk for more than about 30 seconds. sleeping in bed was almost impossible, so I spent some restless nights in a recliner. All of this made it hard for me to function normally at work. Fortunately, I mostly worked at my home office, and I was able to finish what was needed.
