NO DOUBT ABOUT IT

It was early, and I had just finished studying the Christian Science Bible Lesson. I love the early morning hours, and was enjoying the stillness—a wonderful time to listen for divine inspiration.

Into this peaceful setting came the thought: It's time to go into the full-time healing practice. I had thought about taking this step for many years. I'd talked to my Christian Science teacher about it on many occasions. From earliest memory I could not read a passage from Science and Health without feeling its healing effect. I took Christian Science class instruction when I was 18. Often I felt guilty about not going into the practice.

With great kindness, my teacher would say, "Chris, you're in the practice. You've got a good career going and you're proving it on the front lines."
