I am writing to add to the chorus of gratitude for the Sentinel of May 11 ["A healing Church lights up the world"], containing Mary Trammell's interview with Rabbi David Louis. I particularly love his precious insight near the end of the interview, where he states: "There cannot be in my view the world peace without an understanding of Mary Baker Eddy's writings, her life—what she went through."

I shared this issue with a Jewish friend, who said he read the Sentinel cover to cover, and also with a Muslim friend, mainly for Elizabeth Beall's article for Mother's Day in the same issue. She, too, read it cover to cover and commented on how much she appreciated the interview. JULIE-ANNE EASTMAN
