After a breakup
A while ago. I dealt with a breakup.
I felt lonely, sad, and confused. The couple of weeks following the breakup were spent in a whirlpool of emotion. Instead of being in control of how I felt, it seemed as though these ever-changing emotions were carrying me away with them wherever they decided to go.
Unfortunately, I used anger to replace and "get over" my feelings for my ex-boyfriend. Well, it worked insofar as I no longer pined to have him around all the time, but it still left me with a horrible feeling. The question remained: where and how to start the true healing process, as opposed to waiting for the turmoil to just go away?
