I'm a dancer and an actress. When a pain in my hip and my leg began to impede all mobility, I despaired. Most of all I was concerned because I am a very active person and I was soon to appear on stage.

To comfort my family and calm the pain, I went to a hospital to consult a doctor. There I was diagnosed with two herniated discs and told I would need surgery. For one month I underwent therapy to temporarily ease the pain, but I received no medication and afterward relied completely on prayer in Christian Science for healing.
