There  are lots of ways to think about the story of Martha and Mary—not because it's a Bible story, but because Martha and Mary may not be so different from people today.

Is there anyone you have to be with a lot, who is so different from you that you always have a different point of view on what's important? Your sister, or brother, a friend, or perhaps your mom or dad?

One of you may be a very practical person, always making sure everything is taken care of. Another one may not be as concerned about details, but eager to learn and imagine new ideas.
