GETTING ALONG WITH FRIENDS

Another boy and I were fighting for popularity at school. I'm homeschooled, but once a week I have classes with other homeschooled kids. During lunchtime outside the church where we have our classes, we liked to choose sides and throw pine cones at each others' groups. After doing this several weeks in a row, this boy locked me in a classroom to annoy me. Then we had to go in to our classes, so the other kids let me out.

That day one of my friends suggested a strategy to tackle that boy the following week. I thought maybe we should not plan to get back at this boy. But I was so angry about being locked in that classroom that I just wanted to get back at him.

I started to have a very bad cold that same day. And the next two days it was becoming very hard for me. We asked a Christian Science practitioner to help pray for me to get well.
