I have attended Christian Science lectures and church services with my wife, who is a church member, and on my own, for many years. And though I am not a church member, I read the Christian Science Bible Lesson every morning before doing anything else. I also read the Sentinel every week from cover to cover, and The Christian Science Journal.

I especially enjoy attending the Wednesday evening meetings to hear how others utilize prayer for healing and to share my own thoughts and successful experiences, such as the following.

In 2002 I became very weak and was in a lot of pain. My bodily functions also became abnormal. The symptoms I was experiencing seemed to match the descriptions from friends who had suffered from urinary tract infections. Though the condition wasn't medically diagnosed, I strongly felt that I was dying.
