First GO TO GOD, then follow His lead

Sentinel Radio's Rita Polatin recently spoke with Doris Olawuwo of Lagos, Nigeria. Doris is currently studying Christian Science nursing in the United States. (A Christian Science nurse learns to care for others in a way that is spiritually based, completely free of medical theories and techniques, and supportive of the patient's desire to rely on Christian Science prayer alone for healing.) Rita spoke to Doris about how she approached such big decisions as to whether or not to become a Christian Science nurse and to train in a country far from home and family. She has a daughter in high school at home in Lagos and three other children who are either in university or have graduated. The following is an adaptation of their radio interview.

Doris, when you have a big decision to make, such as traveling to Boston to study Christian Science nursing, what do you do?

I think we have to pray for God to lead the way for us.
