GRATEFUL FOR NUMEROUS HEALINGS
The decision on how to write this testimony was difficult, because I've had so many healings I could share. I didn't know which one to write about.
I'll start with my first healing. When I was ten years old, I went to a Christian Science Sunday School for the first time, with a friend. I'd been to different Sunday Schools and had learned to love God from my wonderful grandma, but I'd never considered joining a church. However, when I walked into that Christian Science Sunday School and saw "God is Love" in lettering on the wall, I felt at home. But then my family moved to California during Word War II, and we lived far from a church.
In my late teens, I began to have vertigo spells that lasted for hours at a time. My parents took me to a doctor, and I even had an operation that was supposed to help. Still, the spells continued off and on for nine years, and at one point, they were almost continuous. The kind doctor tried many cures, but to no avail. Soon I became addicted to the medicine he'd prescribed, watching the clock to see when I could take the next pill. With this discovery, I stopped taking the medicine since it wasn't helping me anyway.
