MOBILITY RESTORED: A STORY OF PERSISTENCE AND HOPE

FOR SEVERAL DECADES, I'VE EXPERIENCED THE incomparable benefit of physical healing through relying on Christian Science treatment. Many times these healings have been the result of my own prayers. And often they've come about with the support of family members. In a few more challenging instances, I've joined with the prayers of a Christian Science practitioner. Nearly all of my healing experiences have been quick and often instantaneous.

But it was different when I was confronted with a specific physical problem that wasn't yielding quickly to my prayers. I felt I was in the grip of a problem that the medical profession considers incurable. I never had a medical diagnosis, nor did I use any form of medicine or pharmaceuticals, but the symptoms were well publicized—and I'd heard them associated with arthritis and rheumatism.

I never openly referred to the symptoms by name, but my physical difficulties were obvious to those closest to me, including friends, family, and business associates. Despite this, I always tried to be upbeat when I was in their company, and avoided calling attention to the difficulty.
