Always protected by God

I was living in Spain with my family for several months last year enjoying the Spanish culture. At first, though, I was bothered by mosquito bites. I was itching a lot, and I was getting mad at the insects.

I prayed, and I told myself, "I'm God's child, and the mosquitoes are also God's creatures." I also thought about how I couldn't be harmed because I was protected by the suit of "armor of God," like I read about in the Bible.

One day I lay down in bed for a little while because I was so uncomfortable. I realized that I needed a calm thought to help me. While I was lying there, I started clearing out thoughts of being irritated and impatient with the bugs. I replaced those thoughts with hymns and good thoughts.
