HERNIA HEALED, ATTITUDE TRANSFORMED

At one time I had a hernia operation. Soon after, another hernia was detected. The doctor wanted to perform another surgery, but this time I decided not to go forward with it.

That's when a niece invited me to attend a testimony meeting at a Church of Christ, Scientist. I wasn't feeling well that day, and my stomach hurt, but I went. And, to my surprise, I had a very agreeable experience. I was struck by the readings from the Bible and Science and Health, as well as by a hymn sung from the Christian Science Hymnal. The third verse says:
