EYE CONDITION HEALED

A little over two years ago, I tried to order a contact lens on the Internet and found that I needed to obtain some information from my optometrist before completing the purchase. His office said I would have to have an exam. It had been well over a year since my last appointment, so I scheduled a visit.

Prior to the appointment, I prayed a great deal. So you might say that my thought had been filled daily with spiritual truths from reading and studying the Christian Science Bible Lessons, singing hymns, and reading the Christian Science magazines.

During the eye exam, things seemed to take longer than usual as the optometrist spent a great deal of time examining my eyes. Then he stopped, and said that I had a condition that indicated I might lose my sight altogether. He sounded very fearful and wanted to recommend several specialists who would talk with me some more about it.
