My healings

I like Sunday School, baseball, and soccer. I also enjoy Tae Kwan Do, riding an electric scooter, skiing, and playing Wii.

At home and Sunday School I am learning about God, Jesus, people in the Bible, and about how I am God's child. I love to read the Bible. My favorite Psalms are 23 and 91.

We talk about the names for God in Science and Health. You can find a lot of them on page 465.

My Sunday School teacher asked me what I know about God. I wrote:

I know that God is in charge. God is good.
I know God is Life, and God made life.
I know God is Truth, and I trust Him.
I know God is Love, and I'm loved.
I know that God is Spirit and supreme.
I know God is Mind. God is the intelligence of the whole universe.
I know God is Principle. God's law stays with us forever.
I know God is Soul, and we are God's reflection. Soul is peace.

I write my healings in a journal. I want to tell you about two of them.

I had a really bad cough and a cold. I knew that if God can't be sick, that means that I can't be sick. God is the only Creator, and so there is only one infinite power. I think praying like this is like taking spiritual medicine. So I "took" in Truth and Love. I felt better. And soon I was healed.

Another time, on a ski trip, I was afraid to ski because it was my first time on the ski slope. I turned to God. I thought about how God is my Shepherd, as it says in the 23rd Psalm. And then I went down the pole slope. I was not afraid anymore. The last thing I did was to take a "black" slope, which was for advanced skiers. And I did great!

I like praying to God.
