LUMP AND OTHER SYMPTOMS COMPLETELY HEALED

About two years ago, I seemed stymied in my ability to experience healing of a sharp pain in the lower right side of my abdomen. The pain would suddenly appear without warning, last for several minutes, and then subside.

These attacks persisted on and off for several weeks, but then they became more frequent and lasted longer. However, each time this occurred I steadfastly affirmed the spiritual fact of my unity with God. I did so by acknowledging the very presence of divine Love caring for my every need, which has always brought peace and healing. I realized that Love, God, made all, never created pain, and knew nothing about it, so I couldn't suffer from it. I also diligently persisted in negating commonly accepted medical theories that relentlessly bombarded my thoughts whenever I was in pain. I struggled with the perception that people who faced such symptoms would generally seek medical means for relief. This, to me, was a clear indication of the mental nature of these attacks—that they were a product not of the body, but of the belief that life is material, dependent on matter, and vulnerable to disease.

Little by little my prayers led me away from focusing on the physical nature of what I was experiencing and the fear associated with it, and turned me to the realization that I needed to go up higher in my understanding of God's power and love.
