ANYONE CAN BE A HEALER

LET THEM COME

MY JOURNEY INTO THE PRACTICE of Christian Science healing really began when my little boy started to go to Christian Science Sunday School. We'd been attending another church and had just heard of Christian Science. I really liked what I heard, and he loved going to the Sunday School.

But when the teacher told the class, "God is good," he replied, "My mommy can't walk, and I can't see anything good about that." (I'd had a very severe foot problem for a long time, and doctors had predicted that the foot would need to be amputated.)

The Sunday School teacher came to visit me the next day. He was so kind and confident. He said, "Oh, my dear, you don't have to have that amputation." He then talked about where the Bible says that God created me in His own image and how Science and Health says that as God's image I was spiritual, not material (see Gen. 1:27 and "the scientific statement of being" in Science and Health, p. 468). So how could I have a diseased bone?
