The article by Lori Doutrich titled "What I had to give" in the Sentinel of August 20 ("Healing grief") is inspiring. When we ask God to give us the right career, job, or business, but we focus on the material benefits thereof, we ask amiss. In addition, lack of gratitude for the good that we've already received in our past and present engagements conjures up failure.

God is a wonderful counselor, and when we pray, knowing that God is the only Employer, divine Love will direct our spiritual sense to where our services are most needed. Father-Mother God gives us wisdom to be in the right place at the right time, and Christian Science teaches us that Love cannot be deprived of its manifestation.

Thank you for sharing ideas with which we can discover our unlimited abilities in all our engagements. God surely rewards every individual for being of good service to mankind.
